That often means ordering a gown to fit the larger of the measurements. For instance if your bust measurement says you will wear a 10, and your waist says you will wear a 12, order the 12. It is always easier to take in than let out. Remember some fabrics show when let out. Also remember that the bridal sizes are generally 2 sizes smaller than regular sizing. No vanity sizing here. Formalities recommends, a professional seamstress, the one who will alter your gown, take your measurements for you. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS - THEY WILL BE WRONG!
